He’s got the whole world… in his hands!!!

You remember that song right… my mom used to sing it to me when I was a kid. As I was watching the Presidential Inauguration, I heard a man named Joseph Lowery say that phrase in what I thought was the best speech of the day. I wonder what our faith would be like as individuals and as the church if we simplified our thoughts and worries to… HE’S GOT THE WHOLE WORLD IN HIS HANDS.

Is it just me or are we just really good at complicating the things that God intended to be really simple?? I make God’s blessing and provision so hard, when in reality He is eagerly waiting for my faith to release a blessing beyond what I could imagine.

This last weekend I was given a guitar. Besides the fact that is was an enormous blessing and answer to pray, it really opened my eyes to how easy it is for God to provide what we need.

I was so caught up in what kind of guitar i needed and how much it would cost and how long it was going to take to get it, that I kind of forgot that my God happens to be the very creator of the universe. He knows beginning to end, He knows me inside and out, He has the WHOLE WORLD in his hands. And more amazing still, He knows and cares about every detail in my life. A guitar might seem like a little thing to you, but God knows how big of thing it is to me!

With this in mind and the faith messages of last weeks catalyst conference, I am confident in my God who is the sovereign ruler of heaven and earth, but intimate enough to love and bless the smallest details of my life.

What is it that you need from God this year. Is it a miracle? Perfect… God is good at miracles!! I hope your faith is being stirred! There is nothing more exciting then FAITH!

Luke 11:9-10
”And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.”

You could not be more right Keiks. When I was little it was so easy to think that when God tells us not to worry, he is just joking around with us. How could we not ever worry, I thought. But ther truth is, He’s got the whole world in his hands…and with that security, why would we worry?

I know that I need to believe for a miracle. I need delivered out the desert. Obedience is key.
