Every month Smashing Magazine Blog does calander screen savers! I love getting new ones every month for my screens! This month is one of my favorites I must say!! =)

Blogging has proved to be really hard lately! I’m not sure why! I just have no creativity for it!
sigh… maybe its cause i’ve been kinda in and out of being sick for like the last month.
Anyways I apologize for my lame-ness!

I have been hinting at the parents that this would be an incredible Christmas present!! We shall see!

They are Lhasa Apso/Maltese mix!! SO SO SO CUTE!!

The first one is my FAVORITE!!

So literally until this last August, I could count on one hand how many times I had heard of the name Keila.  And actually I was fine with that! I love that my name is so original and unique.

But something happened in August… Keila’s just started popping up right and left!  I have been trying to count and I think I am at about 12 different people have said they know of a Keila just in the last 2 months! Everyone from close friends to friends I haven’t seen in ages to random people from craigs list to even an Iphone commercial with my name in it!!  Its been crazy!! I don’t know where they are all coming from… but im starting to not like it! haha I’m not a big fan of sharing my name!! But at least there hasn’t been another Keila that goes to my church… then I really wouldn’t like it!

Oh how I miss you! It has been about over 2 months now since we have been together! I have thought about you everyday! Do you miss me? ok so that was a little bit dramatic but seriously… everyone and their dog commented on my hair yesterday…

“Nice hair cut Keila!”

“Your hair looks so cute! Did you do something different?”

“I love your hair… will you be my hair stylist?” (haha that one made me smile)

“Hey I was going to tell you earlier, I really like your hair today!”

Here is what went into yesterdays hair do….

• 3 days ago (yes that is right… 3 DAYS!!) I wore my hair curly! I have naturally curly hair so I basically just out of the shower and smeared some product in it and went on my way
• Then I slept on it that night and woke up with some pretty intense bedhead. So I wrapped it into a bandana and went on my way. I actually like the urban grunge bandanna look! Its fun!
• Then I slept on it again and woke up with extremely intense bedhead! So in my laziness and impatience with my hair that so badly needs a haircut, I wrapped it again in a bandanna and went on my way.
• By this point my hair is kinda greasy and the curl has been all pulled out and laid flat from the bandannas…  I went home and took the bandanna off cause it was kind of annoying and then just went on my way to church!

And the compliments came flooding in!!!!
Honestly I can’t think of anything less I could have done to make my hair look “good”
So I have come to the completely logical conclusion that I am NEVER doing my hair again! ;)

Actually I am just calling this next week my “grunge phase”… It should be interesting!

Agassi has been staying with us for a whole day and a half.

Here is the tally of how many times he has pooped in our house…
(don’t worry property manager Kirsten, we cleaned it good. No harm done)

Wednesday – 1 time
Thursday – 2 times

If he can keep his tally lower than the US medal count…. he can live!!
(don’t worry owner of the pup Tracy, that was mostly sarcastic, I love the lil guy!)

I instantly fell in love with LoLo Jones when i was watching her run her hurdles the other day!! I love her story and was so excited to see her run in the woman’s 100m hurdles… one of THE most intense races in track!!

I was obviously devastated for her as she clipped the 9th hurdle and did not medal!

Her devastation was heartbreaking!! Especially the clip they got of her sobbing alone under the stands!

However… i was more then impressed with her interviews after the race!

She didn’t give any excuse…

“It’s the hurdles, if you can’t get over all 10, you can’t be the champion.”

But at the same time didn’t hide how painful it was…

“Today is hard, tomorrow is going to be harder, but what can you do but try again?”

I think that’s a quote of a champion!!

I am a big LoLo Jones fan!!! And I look forward to seeing her in 2012! =)

So i literally feel like i have been gone for about a month. Oh wait…… i basically have! It has been one fun but crazy june. And my blog has suffered! I apologize! I know that it must have been devastating to the whole 4 people that check on my blog that i haven’t updated this in weeks!!
