So literally until this last August, I could count on one hand how many times I had heard of the name Keila.  And actually I was fine with that! I love that my name is so original and unique.

But something happened in August… Keila’s just started popping up right and left!  I have been trying to count and I think I am at about 12 different people have said they know of a Keila just in the last 2 months! Everyone from close friends to friends I haven’t seen in ages to random people from craigs list to even an Iphone commercial with my name in it!!  Its been crazy!! I don’t know where they are all coming from… but im starting to not like it! haha I’m not a big fan of sharing my name!! But at least there hasn’t been another Keila that goes to my church… then I really wouldn’t like it!

How many Keila’s do you know?? =)

well it looks like your name was on the rise right about the time you where born so now they are growing up and you are hearing about it. IDK. What I do know is that you have and amazing name! You’re my one and only Keila.
Trust me I know what it feels like to share names…and no it isn’t fun. Jesus shared his name with a lot of people if that helps.

You are the only Keila in my life. But I do share your feelings my name isn’t that common. There are variants like Elena, Elaine, Alanna, but I don’t count those as my name. It’s not that common and I can still count the Alaina’s I have heard of on one hand.
There are 2 Alaina’s that go to our church one is only one so I don’t count her as competition. But one fateful day a grown up Alaina walked in to my life. It kinda crushes me when people say my name and they aren’t talking to me. We are both Alaina S’s too. :(
